Wild Cow Milkin' Craze Hits the Strip in Vegas!

The new craze in Rodeo "Wild Cow Milkin'" is coming to the Strip in Las Vegas Nevada March 30 - April 1st. Twenty Mad Momma Cows will give the Ranch Cowboys a run for their money in the South Point Casino Events Center.

Ranch Rodeo Teams will compete at the Western States Championship Ranch Rodeo for the largest purse ever in Ranch Rodeo competition. More than twenty ranches from nine states will compete in the South Point Casino Events Center for over $35,000 in prize money.

"What is Wild Cow Milkin'?, well it's a skill that every Ranch Cowboy has to use once in while. You'll have a Cow that has some sort of a problem with her bag and will require milkin' her out so she can have some relief. Luckly this aint an ever-day occurrence." States one long time competitor. These cows do not want to be milked, they are not dairy cows. This event is wild and very dangerous, a real crowd pleaser with these cows throwing cowboys all over the arena.

Rodeo Producer, Randy Norris says "We think Wild Cow Milkin' in Las Vegas will be as big as Bull Riding soon and the locals can get tickets to this event." The Wild Cow Milkin' is one of five events that Ranch Teams from all over the west will compete in to win the Western States Championship Ranch Rodeo. Other events are bronc riding, branding, team doctoring and team sorting. All the events are designed to showcase the skills used daily during ranch work.

The winning team from the Western States Championship will receive an invitation to the World Championship Ranch Rodeo held in Texas each November. Twenty-five Ranch Rodeos are held throughout the west (sanctioned by the Working Ranch Cowboys Association) to benefit charities such as scholorships for ranch children, cancer and rehab facilities. Ranch Rodeo is a charitable sport. This family oriented event will have 4 performances: March 30 @ 7pm, March 31 10:00 am & 7pm, April 1st at 1pm
